Description

This treatment is based in a traditional Vietnamese healing method called “cao do” which has been used for thousands of years.  Also called ‘gua sha, scraping or coining,’cao do involves scraping an instrument across the skin along muscles and meridians to invite more blood and oxygen to the area treated to nourish those cells. In this focused treatment, Nam-Thu uses natural aventurine and rose quartz stones to promote soft tissue repair, increase range of motion, flexibility and decrease pain in strained muscles. It’s excellent for tight calf muscles, plantar fasciitis, shoulder pain or stiff neck. The benefit of using gemstones is that each one embodies its own unique properties to enhance Qi/Energy flow and amplifies the healing frequency of the body, mind and spirit. Aventurine assists in physical regeneration, releases negative energy blockages, calms and soothes the everyday stresses of a hectic lifestyle. Rose quartz stimulates the heart chakra, circulatory system, relieves stress, tension and strengthens self-acceptance. This treatment activates the immune system, allowing the body to speed up its natural healing process.
